技巧与文化
用第一人称翻译
专业医疗翻译应以说话者的身份翻译：说"我这里痛"，而不是"他说他这里痛"。不要添加、省略或弱化信息。不确定的词，请医生解释，宁可确认也不要猜测。
中英医院的差异
在中国，患者通常每一步都要挂号缴费：挂号费、每项检查和药品分别缴费。在英国NHS体系中，大部分医疗在就诊时免费，患者先看全科医生（GP），由GP转诊到医院。外籍患者可能不习惯自助机和"先缴费后检查"，请提前向他们解释每个步骤。
